The FCKNYE Festival indoor camping sits in Palais 1, 3, 4, 8 and 9 of Brussels Expo, fully indoors and heated. An indoor corridor links it to the festival both ways, so you never step outside in late December. No hotel. No night bus.

One pack one pitch

An indoor camping pack is one pitch for one tent, shared by 1 to 4 people: Solo, Duo, Trio or Quattro. With a Duo, Trio or Quattro, everyone in the pack can arrive at the indoor camping separately.

There are two levels:

  • Classic: the Classic zone on 30 and 31 December and 1 January, with free hot showers, toilets and private washrooms.
  • Premium: the Classic and Premium zones on the same dates. The Premium zone has limited capacity, faster access to the festival and activities.

A pack doesn't get you into the festival: you also need a ticket or a pass. No festival ticket includes the indoor camping either, VIP included. Add your pack with your ticket, or on its own later. The minimum age is 16, as for the festival.

Pick the pack by the size of the tent you share. A Duo is one pitch for your own 2-person tent, a Quattro one pitch for a 4-person tent. Two friends with two tents need two packs.

Warm and dry

The indoor camping is inside the Brussels Expo halls and it's heated. You sleep out of the cold and the rain, which changes everything at the end of December. You still bring your own gear: the tent and the sleeping bag aren't provided. Indoor camping packs have been on sale since 11 September.

Bring the right tent

The tent isn't provided, with Classic or Premium, and neither is bedding. The floor is hard, so you can't drive in pegs or fix anything to the ground.

Bring a freestanding tent, the kind that stands up on its own without pegs or guy lines, like a Quechua 2 Seconds. Tunnel tents and ridge tents need pegging out, so they won't work.

A tent is compulsory. Sleeping under the stars, on a mattress or in a sleeping bag without a tent isn't allowed, and there are security checks. Canopies are banned too, 3 × 3 m gazebos included.

What's on site

  • free hot showers, toilets and private washrooms for everyone, Classic or Premium;
  • food and breakfast areas;
  • free drinking water points;
  • charging points for your phone and devices;
  • lockers;
  • a make-up area to get ready;
  • dedicated smoking areas, so use them: you're indoors;
  • recycling bins to keep your pitch clean;
  • an awareness stand and a Red Cross post.

Bring your sleeping bag, towel and toiletries. Lockers are paid and can't be booked in advance, and their prices come later. Not feeling well or need help? Go to the awareness stand or the Red Cross post, or talk to a team member.

Terminal 1 next door

Every indoor camping pack, Classic or Premium, gets exclusive access to Terminal 1, the indoor entertainment centre right next to the indoor camping. Access runs non-stop for the three festival days, without leaving the site.

Inside: Supercube Karting, the EVA VR Arena with free-roaming virtual reality and a choice of two exclusive games, and The Sim Power racing simulators. The activities are paid per session, at a special price for indoor campers. Opening hours and bookings come later, on terminal1.fcknyefestival.com. Back in 2025, Terminal 1 was already open to people staying at the indoor camping.

What you can bring

Per person, at most 6 cans of beer of 33 cl and 6 cans or plastic bottles of soft drinks of 33 cl. Spirits and any drink over 15° alcohol are banned, and so is glass.

Also banned on the indoor camping: fires and gas, stoves and barbecues, generators and car batteries, heaters, dry ice, portable showers, tap barrels, tins, speakers bigger than 25 × 25 cm, vehicles of any kind and animals, guide dogs excepted.

Between 3 am and 11 am, no sound in the rest areas. Let your neighbours sleep.

Dates and access

The indoor camping opens on Wednesday 30 December at noon and closes on Saturday 2 January at 4 pm. Pack your tent before then. With an indoor camping pack you can come and go freely on the festival site.

Campervans and caravans can't go onto the indoor camping, and sleeping in a vehicle on the car park isn't allowed. To sleep on site, you need a pack and your own tent.

Pack list

  • a freestanding tent that fits everyone in your pack;
  • a sleeping bag and whatever you sleep on;
  • a towel and your toiletries;
  • your ID, your festival ticket and your indoor camping pack;

  • your charging cable for the charging points.
