Quick answers
The indoor camping is heated and set up right on the Brussels Expo site. A pack is one pitch for one tent, shared by 1 to 4 people: Solo (1), Duo (2), Trio (3) or Quattro (4). With a Duo, Trio or Quattro, everyone in the pack can arrive at the indoor camping separately. The tent isn't provided: bring your own.
- Classic: access to the Classic indoor camping zone on Dec 30, 31 and Jan 1, private washrooms included.
- Premium: access to the Classic and Premium zones, same dates. The Premium zone has limited capacity for more comfort, with faster access to the festival and activities.
Every pack includes access to Terminal 1, reserved for campers. An indoor camping pack doesn't get you into the festival: you also need a ticket or pass. You can add your pack with your ticket or later on. Current wave prices are shown in the ticket shop.
No, bring all your own indoor camping gear: the tent isn't provided with Classic or Premium, and neither is bedding. Each Solo, Duo, Trio or Quattro pack is one pitch for 1 tent.
The indoor camping is indoors, on a hard floor: you can't drive in pegs or fix anything to the ground. Bring a freestanding tent that stands up on its own without pegs or guy lines, like a Quechua 2 Seconds. Tunnel tents and ridge tents, which need to be pegged out, won't work. As in 2025, only freestanding tents, the kind that don't get pegged into the ground, are accepted.
A tent is compulsory: sleeping under the stars, on a mattress or in a sleeping bag without a tent isn't allowed, and there are security checks on the indoor camping. Canopies (3 × 3 m gazebos included) are banned, on Classic and Premium alike.
The indoor camping opens on Wednesday 30 December at noon and closes on Saturday 2 January at 4 pm, so plan to leave before then. Packs give you indoor camping access on Dec 30, 31 and Jan 1.
Not allowed on the indoor camping:
- sleeping without a tent (under the stars, on a mattress or in a sleeping bag): there are security checks;
- climbing on or damaging fences, installations and infrastructure;
- blocking fire lanes or emergency exits: the organisers can move anything in the way, for safety;
- lighting fires or using gas;
- any sound source between 3 am and 11 am in the rest areas: let your neighbours sleep.
Banned items: vehicles (campervans, caravans, cars, motorbikes, scooters, bikes, kick scooters, trailers), canopies, supermarket trolleys (except ones that fit through the checkpoint barriers), portable showers, tap barrels, gas bottles, speakers and sound gear bigger than 25 × 25 cm, stoves, small gas burners, barbecues, power units, car batteries, generators, heaters, dry ice, tins, glass objects, dangerous objects (sharp or blunt, weapons, fireworks, anything that could be thrown), animals (guide dogs allowed). Illegal drugs: all psychoactive products and their containers are banned, except non-spirit alcohol; medication must come with its prescription.
Drinks: spirits and any drink over 15° alcohol are banned. Per person, at most 6 cans of beer of 33 cl and 6 cans or plastic bottles of soft drinks (sodas, energy drinks) of 33 cl: a limited amount of light alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, depending on the format.
Leaving: in 2025 you could leave the site outside programme hours. For 2026, see Can I leave the festival and come back?
The full indoor camping rules had their own page in 2025. The 2026 link will be added as soon as it exists.
