From one night to three days
Brussels Expo
2014 was the first edition at Brussels Expo, in Palais 12, with Jeff Mills and Robert Hood on the techno stage and Kaaris on the hip-hop one. In 2015 the festival, now called FCKNYE Festival, went back to the Brussels Event Brewery with six stages, and kept its night while Brussels cancelled its public New Year celebrations. In 2016 it came back to Palais 12 for good: five stages, 10,000 m² of dancefloor.
2017 sold out, with 46 acts from 19 countries. 2018 gave the stages their names, The Box, Resolution, Loud Machine and Havana Club, and brought the first VIP tickets. In 2019, for the tenth edition, Brussels and Lyon partied on the same night. The plan had artists flying between both cities; fog grounded the jets around 9 pm, and both line-ups were rebuilt live.
The pause
2020 and 2021 were postponed. In 2021 the line-up was fully out, 48 artists on four stages, when Belgium closed large indoor events and the edition moved on 5 December. Every ticket was carried over to the next edition.
Two days then three
2022: back, and sold out, with the countdown in Brussels and in Lyon. In 2023 the festival ran on 30 and 31 December for the first time, and Bazaar became the fifth stage. In 2024 came the indoor camping: tents inside Brussels Expo, sleep, shower, go again.
2025 added 1 January, with Teletech hosting Count:Down. Three days, 75,000 people, and a crowd from all over the world.
This year
30 December 2026 to 1 January 2027 at Brussels Expo. Five stages, three days, an indoor camping and a line-up already 80% revealed.
