FCKNYE Festival takes place at Brussels Expo, Place de Belgique 1, 1020 Brussels. Buses run from 51 cities in four countries, and metro line 6 drops you at Heysel.

Buses from 51 cities

Departures leave from France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland:

  • France: Amiens, Angers, Brive, Brumath, Cambrai, Chalon-sur-Saône, Châlons, Châteauroux, Chaumont, Colmar, Dijon, Épinal, Langres, Le Mans, Lille, Limoges, Lyon Gerland, Mâcon, Metz, Meyzieu, Mulhouse, Nancy, Nantes, Orléans, Paris, Phalsbourg, Poix-Terron, Reims, Rouen, Sélestat, Strasbourg, Thionville, Toulouse, Troyes, Valenciennes and Villefranche.
  • Belgium: Charleroi, Habay, La Louvière, Liège, Mons and Namur.
  • Luxembourg: Luxembourg.
  • Switzerland: Bienne (Biel), Genève (Geneva), Glovelier, Lausanne, Martigny, Neuchâtel, Payerne and Yverdon-les-Bains.

A city that isn't listed, Bern for example, has no departure planned so far. Dates, times and meeting points depend on the city.

The bus page has the map: pick your city to see its trips, the route number, the departure and return times and the meeting point. French departures leave in December 2026 and come back in January 2027.

Book your seat

Buses are sold in the official ticket shop, at the bus step. Already have your festival ticket? Skip the ticket step and go on to the buses. Pick the date first, then the direction, to the festival or back from it, and check the city and the meeting point before you pay.

The bus is a separate product. It isn't included in your festival ticket, and a bus ticket doesn't get you into the festival.

One-way trips exist only on the Belgian routes, from or to Liège, Mons, La Louvière, Charleroi and Namur. Everywhere else, France included, only return trips exist. There are no assigned seats, and a full trip can't promise an extra one.

Not sure you booked the bus? Check your confirmation email or your tickets: the trip says FCKNYE Festival and may show the route number, the city and the date.

On the day

Be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time on your ticket, and show your bus ticket when you board. A ticket on your phone is fine. Boarding after the departure time isn't guaranteed, and a missed bus isn't refunded. Luggage, a suitcase, a tent and your festival gear can come along. Animals can't.

Late, lost or no bus in sight? Contact your trip's operator straight away, not TicketLive or the festival team. Akkros Voyages runs France, Belgium and Luxembourg: email Akkros or call +33 9 72 61 82 41, 8 am to midnight, 7 days a week. Hard Universe runs Switzerland: email Hard Universe.

Public transport in Brussels

Metro line 6 to Heysel is the way we recommend. From every stop, follow the signs to the festival.

  • Tram 7 to the Heysel terminus, tram 9 to Roi Baudouin, tram 35 to Esplanade, tram 51 to Stade, tram 62 to Heysel and tram 93 to Stade.
  • Bus 83 to the Heysel or Palais 12 stop.

Tap in with your bank card, phone or smartwatch instead of queuing at the ticket machines.

31 December runs differently

Come early on 31 December. The midnight fireworks at the Atomium, right next to Brussels Expo, pack public transport that night.

After 7 pm, tram 7 is diverted to Esplanade, so get off at that terminus. Tram 35 doesn't run: take the 7. Tram 62 stops at Guillaume De Greef and no longer serves Heysel: take the 51 or the 93. After 6 pm, bus 83 no longer serves Heysel and Palais 12: get off at Roi Baudouin.

On the night of 31 December to 1 January, public transport is free from midnight to 5 am.

Going home

The music ends at 6 am on 30 and 31 December and at 5 am on 1 January. Taking the bus back? The return time and the meeting point are on your bus ticket: check them before the night starts, and be there 15 minutes early. Came by car? Parking C lets you drive out at any time.

By train

Get off at Brussels-Midi station and take tram 3 to the Esplanade terminus. Follow the signs: the festival entrance is 500 m from the stop. On this route, avoid metro line 6.

By car

Parking C at Brussels Expo sits right next to the festival. It's open from 10 am to 3 am on all three festival days, and a ticket runs for 24 hours from 10 am on the day you pick. You can drive out at any time, even outside opening hours.

Book online in the Brussels Expo parking shop or pay on site. Staying all three days? Take one 3-day ticket instead of three. Campervans, caravans and coaches have their own Parking C tickets.

Sleeping in a vehicle on the car park isn't allowed, and campervans can't go onto the indoor camping. Driving home? Pick a sober driver: the legal limit in Belgium is 0.5 g of alcohol per litre of blood.
