You can pay by bank card at every bar, food and merch stand of FCKNYE Festival. The stands don't take cash, and the cashless card is optional.
Card or cashless
Cashless here means no cash at the stands. Pay straight away with your bank card, at the bars, the food stands or the merch stand.
Coming with cash? Use it to buy a cashless card on site, then pay with that card at the stands. The card is there for your cash, so you don't need one if you pay by card. Bars, food stands and merch stands all work the same way: bank card or cashless card, never notes or coins.
Preload your cashless card
You can book and preload a cashless card ahead, in the official ticket shop. Already have your ticket? Skip the ticket step and go on to the cashless step. Preloading stays open in the official ticket shop.
After you pay, you get a QR code. Show it at any cashless desk at the festival, there are several, and you get your card with the amount already on it.
What VIP adds
VIP comes in the same days and passes as Regular: a day ticket for 30 December, 31 December or 1 January, a 2-Day Pass or the 3-Day Pass. On top, you get:
- VIP access on The Box and Loud Machine, right by the artists;
- a seated grandstand facing Count:Down and a lounge area;
- a private fast-lane entrance;
- private toilets;
- free private lockers you can use all night;
- VIP bars;
- a welcome glass of bubbles.
The Box and Loud Machine run on 31 December, the night all five stages open. Count:Down runs on all three nights.
Upgrade to VIP
Already have a Regular ticket? Upgrades go through TicketLive, who run the ticket shop: email TicketLive customer service with your order number. An admin fee applies per upgraded ticket.
Upgrades only go up: from Regular to VIP, or from a 31 December day ticket to a 30 and 31 December pass. Downgrades and date changes aren't possible.
Before you come
- your bank card, for every stand;
- the QR code of your cashless card, if you preloaded one;
- the QR code of your merch order, to collect it at a merch stand;
- your ID: the minimum age is 16 and it's checked at the entrance;
- an empty bottle for the free water points.
Buy VIP like any ticket, in the official ticket shop only. A resale ticket can't be guaranteed: a PDF can be sold several times, and only the first scan gets in.
Leaving and coming back
With a 2-Day or 3-Day Pass, Regular or VIP, your wristband lets you go in and out as often as you like while the pass runs. With a day ticket, once you leave, you're out for the day. Think about it before you step out for air.
Lockers
Lockers in several sizes stand on the festival site and at the indoor camping. They're paid and can't be booked in advance, and their prices come later. With VIP, free private lockers are kept for you, open all night.
Food and water
Several bars and food stands run on the festival site, with vegetarian and vegan options. Bring an empty bottle: free drinking water points let you refill it. The water at the hand basins isn't drinkable.

Indoor camping packs, buses, cashless cards and merch are all sold in the same official ticket shop, in one checkout. Already have your ticket? Leave the ticket step at zero and go on to the step you need.
